The beer is tapped! Beer tapping on Saturday at 2.00 p.m. in the large Stefitz festival tent
The official market opening traditionally takes place after the historic Freyungszug and the procession with “G’schirr und G’scherr”. The opening takes place in the tent of Wolfgang Stefitz’s family. After the opening speeches by the guests of honour, the “Puntigamer” beer is tapped by Bleiburg’s mayor Stefan Visotschnig and deputy governor Dr Gaby Schaunig. The first sip – a loud cheers and the Wiesenmarkt is officially opened.
