29 August to 1 September 2025 – public arrival by train and bus

Convenient, climate-friendly and stress-free travel to the Bleiburger Wiesenmarkt 2025

From 29 August to 1 September 2025, ÖBB together with Kärntner Linien will ensure a comfortable, safe and eco-friendly journey to the Bleiburger Wiesenmarkt.

Thanks to S-Bahn connections and shuttle buses, visitors will reach the festival grounds in a relaxed way – and the return journey is also guaranteed late into the night thanks to Nightline and Postbus services.

In addition to the regular bus lines in the region, extra shuttle buses will also operate, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey to the Bleiburger Wiesenmarkt grounds. From Friday to Saturday as well as Saturday to Sunday, buses will run until late at night. The central boarding and alighting point is Bleiburg Stadt railway halt. All regular stops along the shuttle routes will be served.

With the combination of train and Postbus, guests can travel in comfort, enjoy the festival and rely on a safe journey home. This concept shows how mobility in Carinthia works today and will work in the future.
